Mini Profile on Semi-Finalist: Alexandra's Pizza Started in 1991 by Dimitri Neonakis, who got his start at Tony's Donair in the Halifax Shopping Centre. Alexandra's was one of the first to serve poutine, & their donairs are unique in that they still contain a percentage of lamb.

Mini Profile on Semi-Finalist: King of Donair. Opened in the mid-70s by the inventor of the donair himself, Peter Gamoulakos! It has changed hands a couple times and has recently expanded to Western Canada. The original Quinpool location draws celebrities and tourists alike!

Mini Profile of Semi-Finalist: Tony's! That's right - Tony's just defeated Randy's 492-441! This Robie St. institution has been perfecting the art since 1976. It was then that Abe Salloum took over from the Greeks, and launched Tony's into the iconic donair shop it is today!
