On This Date (9/15/2012): @joshberry scores @JRMotorsports its first #NASCAR championship. Berry edged veteran Frank Deiny, Jr. by a mere 32 points to claim the @motormile Late Model track title. This in-house spot promoting the 2013 title race aired the following summer:

Motor Mile Speedway & Dragway is temporarily suspending operations, effective immediately. Facilities will be CLOSED until further notice; this includes testing. We will continue updating our racing community in the days to come, and we will be firing our engines again soon!

The #DAYTONA500 is the mountaintop. Though there are many paths to the summit, reaching the event's starting grid is a special achievement. 2012 MMS Late Model Rookie of the Year @P1_Houff will start P35 in his first 500. Houff made 45 starts in 5 seasons at MMS. Godspeed!
