@bceenet It's my goal to have specimens in front of as many undergrads as possible. Non-majors botany gets a CURE studying invasive species. Upper division classes sample specimens for lab projects. We've had English and Art students visit and mount specimens, inspiring creative works.

IMO we save herbaria by making them critical to the research AND teaching missions of universities. Since 2020, @bceenet we've been developing teaching resources using natural history collections. Plus we have $$$ available for instructor training!.
