It was my experience that the majority of reviewers, Fannie Mae included, had very limited field experience which was painfully obvious.

@appraisersblogs What did they think was going to happen? The made licensing restrictive & appraisers more liable, but hire unqualified people to “inspect” We are the only profession who cannot dictate our own fees due to AMCs. Our fees are less today than 20 yrs ago, yet appraisals cost more.
