Gomco. Better ring and more symmetrical result. The high and tight looks nice, though I’ve heard they can give a lower result at the hands of a skilled doctor. Anyone else hear the same thing? Something about bigger/smaller bell size if I recall correctly.

My dad’s cut was a bit lower and tighter than mine, but our cocks still looked very similar. He was born in ‘46, perhaps gomco? I think I was a gomco or possibly plastibell.

I’m not sure how mine was done as a baby. I have a two-toned medium and tight cut. A little uneven junction on the underside. Perhaps a Plastibell, but I have two tiny suture tunnels, so I’m not at all confident. Anyone hazard a guess? Do they do freehand on babies?

My father was very pro-circumcision when I was growing up, but I could never work up the courage to ask him why he felt so strongly. Not sure if he was a RIC or had issues?

I’m surprised the local doc didn’t make house calls and circumcise the lads on the kitchen table. Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s how some of our grandfathers were done (sans anesthetic!). 😂

When I asked him about why I was circumcised, he quite forcefully said that no son of his would have a dirty skin. Not sure if he had some kind of negative experience or why he was so pro-circ. I was always too afraid to ask him.
