This week the Moore staff celebrated the holiday season by showing some holiday spirit. Wednesday was Tacky and Ugly Sweater Day and Thursday was Comfy/Cozy Pajama Day. The perfect way to end the first semester.

As October is coming to an end we wanted to share ways we supported Down Syndrome Awareness. ASB students along side some students from special ed passed out blue & yellow friendship bracelets to spread awareness of Down Syndrome & promote befriending those who are different.

On Wednesday 10/19, Mrs. Dillow's Living Skills Class took a fun trip to Oak Glenn. Students learned community based skills such as nature appreciation, wildlife, and the great outdoors. Good job kids! #NothingStopstheRoar

Today, Moore participated in the #GreatShakeout drill and evacuation. With the help of students and staff, we were able to clear the campus in 10 minutes and every student was accounted for in 15 minutes. Great work, Monarchs! #NothingStopsTheRoar

Friday, at the Mt. SAC cross country invitational all of our runners made Moore proud! Among these - 7th grader, Bryce Hopkins (left), took 5th out of 181 runners! Additionally, 6th grader, Luke Paxman (right), took 14th out of 103 runners. Both earned medals. Go Monarchs!
