At first, people thought it was just a gimmick. Nobody believed it was a real mission. But then the truth landed. Literally. Submissions poured in from around the world.

Why 47 artworks? Because people with Down syndrome have 47 chromosomes. We chose this number to say: Humanity isn’t just data or averages - it’s everyone. Art became our way of sending that message into space. <Artwork: @DownsandTowns>

We launched DNA of Humanity, a global open call asking: What makes us human? In partnership with LifeShip (who sent crop seeds + digital DNA info), we aimed to preserve something deeper: Not just biology — but imagination.
