Update: I’m told there was an Electrical Fire underground in Mile End. I was evacuated from my building several hours. Still no power. Moreover, I heard there were multiple electrical fires in Mile End this morning.

I lost my Dad to suicide. I don’t need anymore gut punches like this. Reaching for help is not a sign of weakness, it takes the ultimate strength to say “hey, I can’t do this alone.” Trust me, I nearly didn’t make it past age 23. This shit is real. And help & hope is out there.

Montreal, apparently this is what our phone “marine tornado” warning meant:.
@shinraisei @montrealmarc In addition to the usual "public" weather forecasts and warnings, ECCC also produces "marine" forecasts/warnings for open water areas. In this case, your "mobile coverage zone" extends into such marine forecast zones, triggering the duplicate warning from your carrier.
