The very first tournament for our Year 3 Girls! The girls have worked incredibly hard the past few weeks, and today got the chance to show their progression. The girls made it to the final before unfortunately coming up short. I couldn’t be prouder of this group, well done ⚽️👏🏻

Well done also to our Player of the tournament (which could have been any of the 6 girls) who took on role as goalkeeper and developed as the tournament progressed. Well done Ella, you were brilliant 🧤⚽️👏🏻

The girls today showed so many school values today. They were a joy to be around, always laughing, smiling and enjoying their football. The togetherness they showed throughout the day was incredible. This picture sums it up ❤️⚽️

Come wind, rain or shine, classR1 love being outside. As it was very wet we today, we used our gross motor skills to brush the coloured puddles ( we also practised our jumping skills) @monksdownsport

A great meeting this morning the PE subject leads. We discussed the role and what their first actions will be. The children also discussed their passion for PE.

Well done to our boys who competed at the Y5/6 Football tournament today. Won 3, drew 2 before losing on penalties in the Semi Final (Monksdown & Penalties AGAIN😂) . Couldn’t be more proud of this group, they were a credit to the school. Well done lads 👏🏻 @monksdownsport

A massive well done to our Y3/4 football team today who were very unlucky Semi finalists. The boys went unbeaten today, before a draw in the semi final seen them lose on pens. They played some great football, and their attitude was outstanding @MonksdownSchool @monksdownsport 👏🏻
