If he’s really completely done it must not be a huge role. Wonder what that means for the rest of the X characters. I’d imagine Cyclops for example would have a more involved role but we’ll see. Also hoping they announce Famke and Halle Berry soon….

I hope future issues are better. The book isn’t bad it’s just average and not super unique. But on the podcast Condon is acting like the book has been a big swing when in fact it’s very safe. Far too safe. Let’s actually see some big swings in the future.

Between this and the MCU having mediocre or bad box office this year, I’m really curious to see what becomes of CBM in the future. At the very least I expect far fewer releases made on lower budgets. The lack of a strong international audience just can’t justify them anymore.
Over the weekend, “Superman” added $3.1 million overseas and $8.4 million globally. At this point, even with an impressive gross of $595 million, "Superman" is unlikely to surpass the haul of the character’s last solo outing, 2013’s “Man of Steel,” which flew to $670 million.
