Frontier models like GPT-4o and Sonnet 4 are impressive, but not built for this. They hallucinate, they’re slower, and they cost much more. That tradeoff doesn’t work when millions of travelers depend on you.

For us, passport scanning is mission critical. If your date of birth or name is wrong, your visa isn’t just delayed — it might be rejected. Accuracy at scale isn’t nice-to-have, it’s the whole game.
