Why not buy Opera? @AravSrinivas . 293M MAUs, $575M 2025E revenue with 24% EBITDA margin. You also get a pretty decent ad network (67% of revenue) and can leverage existing ad partnerships. Keep good bits of ARIA. Slightly messy given its a public company and majority owned by.
Scoop: Perplexity has been making headlines for improbable bids to buy Chrome and TikTok. in private, though, in pursuit of scale, it's been talking to The Browser Co, Brave and DuckDuckGo about actually acquiring a browser. w @srimuppidi and @nmasc_ .

Wells Fargo among others invested $60m at $350m valuation in 2021. Wonder if they effectively break even at this mark. Big winner is Left Lane, which led a $150m round at $1.5m round in 2022. Kudos to the team.
Bilt raised $250M at a $10.75B valuation. Led by GC and GID (real estate). They did $200M in revs last year, > $400M now, and expect to hit a $1B run rate by Q1 2026. 🚨They are exiting the Wells deal Feb 2026 and launching new cards powered by fintech company Cardless. with 3
