The true quality of our lives is defined by the amount of courage we put into our decisions.

Day 3 was surprisingly slow and unproductive, despite getting MORE sleep last night than for Day 2! The main variables were: 1. I didn't get straight to work after waking. Went out to get sunlight etc. 2. I didn't meditate in the morning. https://t.co/xyZg0NHxZW
Day 2 was great — made a lot of progress. I now understand why @elonmusk slept in the factory: During "production hell," the frequency of critical decision-making explodes. A steady work rhythm doesn't work. The context switching costs are too high. https://t.co/1wHfqtEORo

I'm about to lock myself in a coworking space in Tokyo — indefinitely. I won't go home until I finish and launch our new product. I'll be doing this while having 3 meals and 2 workouts per day. Thank god for sentos and conbini. Let's go!

The fact that in the English language you can say that you're up for something or that you're down for something and it means the exact same thing, will always fascinate me.

#JapanProblems There's got to be a machine that I can clumsily feed business cards into (like bills or coins at a grocery store checkout). ...and then it uses AI to scan everyone's info and save it digitally or send it to me. Anyone know of something like this?

All thanks to @bryan_johnson for inspiring me to take steps towards skincare. I ignored skincare for the longest time, thought it was girly or something. But within a couple weeks of paying attention to it, now I'm 100% sold on the concept and practice. Every guy should do it.

I've decided to literally only buy @TheBodyShopJP products from now on. Criminally underrated. I'm the brutest, least skincare-y guy by default, but after just one visit to their showroom in Shinjuku, I've become obsessed with high-quality products. Reads like a paid ad lol

"THERE'S NO LUCKY PUNCH." I don't usually get life lessons from works of fiction (especially anime). But this was gold. 🪙🪙🪙 #hajimenoippo

What a race. What a lesson. It's the 1972 Olympic final, and this unlikely winner decides to pull a boss move. https://t.co/kYwxyFwfSx

More proof that just because something is published in Nature Medicine doesn't make it credible!
Five years ago today a notorious teleconference took place at which senior scientists discussed in detail their own strong suspicions that Covid leaked from a lab. And decided to keep those suspicions secret and demand censorship - for "political" reasons.

Lesson learned: While debugging complex code, a Google search (and StackOverflow) are still way better than LLMs. Only wasted 2 hours to learn this.

As humans, we're happiest when we do really hard things and find pleasure in the struggle. It makes sense from an evolutionary sense — if nature didn't reward people for HARD endeavours, we would never evolve beyond the hunter/forager era. Hard life = fulfilment + results

5. In messaging apps, mute all GROUP notifications, as well as most chats. Or honestly, leave as many groups as you can. (Like I've done.) This greatly reduces the number of "badge" notifications on the app icon. More peace. (4/n)
