This isn't just fluff, nor is it that difficult. It's simple: Sites that check the basic boxes of conversion will grow your bottom line. Period.

@HubSpot 4️⃣ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. To the RIGHT viewer... words really do mean everything. And they read them. I’ve put so much more time into dissecting copy than I used to in the beginning, and the ROI has been there for clients.

3️⃣ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲. 70 percent of people do not make it past the fold of your homepage. (@Hubspot) If they don’t, they should still know EXACTLY: → who you are → what you do → next steps they should take

2️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 Everyone’s nodding, but most designers/developers STILL aren’t doing this. On our sites, we average around 60-70 percent mobile viewership. Sounds crazy, but times change.

1️⃣ 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗧𝗔𝘀 It’s wild how “aggresive” we sound in our own minds when we make CTA’s correctly. I promise you that visitors aren’t thinking this. Be clear and not clever with buttons.
