Observation: There is basically no mention on Fox News that this is the core issue for Democratic senators or that millions face huge cost spikes — virtually all shutdown debate revolves around finding ways to say that they are just trying to preserve benefits for “illegals.”

But every once in a while their masks slip, and they reveal that they oppose extending the Obamacare subsidies and would prefer soaring health care premiums for millions of Americans.

Fox's Monday night programs, which followed days of administration chaos and corruption, perfectly encapsulate how this process works:

As of noon ET, Fox News has not mentioned reports that its then-employee Tom Homan accepted a bag of cash from undercover FBI agents as part of a corruption probe closed under the Trump administration.
