Speechless moments. So emotionally proud of this team. The best teams are player-led and this team embodied that. It was all them! Every player owned their role, put in the work, remained confident & poised. Grateful to be a part of the ride. Humbled by our Tosa community ♥️.

During Pride Month, I was recognized by the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors as a LGBTQ+ member who’s doing amazing work in their community. Incredibly thankful for the Tosa community for their support of me & my family. It matters!. Thank you @shawnrolland for nomination.

Punish kids for working hard. Worst part, changes continue after the players that earned the points left. TE will be D1 for 2+ yrs. I think everyone knows our roster will look different next year. WIAA should example IL rule 1.65 enrollment multiplier of non-boundary schools, IMO.

Audrey does a phenomenal job highlighting our program. Culture of process focused, unselfishness, and bench energy. The amount of fun we have together on & off the court. Importance of preparation in scouting report & scout team. And lot of water dumping on the coaches 😆.

MUCH DESERVED! DePaul got a straight up stud. Mikaia puts a ton of time into her craft, hours in the gym before school/after school and everything in between. She makes everyone around her better and is the total package. Selfless teammate & process focused. Go Blue Demons!.

Organizing my clothes (downsize/donate) before the twins come and the amount of Tosa East GBB gear is unreal. It’ll only get worse (hopefully for many years). Yet I don’t want to part ways. Any coaches have suggestions for organizing? 😅 . XL & 2XL have been clutch this summer 👌🏻.

14 6-8th graders got better today. Mon/Wed is ball handling & finishing (I run). Tues/Thurs is shooting (Nate runs). Instead of cramming everything into 1 session, this allows more focus on specific aspects. Goal = effective + affordable (less $7/session) summer for Jr. Raiders

Running our youth basketball skill sessions 7 months pregnant in a no AC gym is no joke 😅 . These twin boys will know the whistle and basketball sound as much as anything else.

Especially true in youth. Some kids start solid but fizzle out b/c they don’t put in the time. Others start slow, put in work, and excel by 8th grade. In just one year she surpassed a lot of her teammates because she did more and GAVE more. Now she’s one of the best 8th graders.

A youth player made 6th grade B team. Summer going into 7th, they came to every workout, went game speed in every drill + reps on own. Not only did they make 7A team, they become one of the best players. Game speed reps + consistency over time = development. Truly that simple.

Svea agreed we will name one of our twin boys Jrue if he comes back to Milwaukee (by Kuzma/Pat trade).
