Art and music events. The Friends of St Michael's raise funds for the tiny, ancient shepherd's church on the Welsh border with its 5,000 year old yew tree.

Angela Storey’s funeral will be held in St Michael's Church, Discoed, on Friday 25th July at 2pm - to be followed by refreshments at Presteigne Memorial Hall. Everyone is very welcome to join us as we celebrate the life of a very special Friend of St Michael's.

LENTEN COMPLINE SERVICES AT DISCOED.Tuesdays at 7 pm. Short contemplative services of Compline followed by a reflection on The Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross, with recordings of music on the same theme. Tuesday 4, 11, 18 and 25 March and 1, 8 and 15 April.
