Friars capture 8th consecutive NSCHSAA championship with doubleheader win over Kellenburg

Juli Murillo went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, and Sarah Bielski went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI’s in a 12-0 semi final win over SHA. Melissa Gordon and Nina Vandernoth combined for a 4 inning perfect game.

Nina Vandernoth pitched a four inning no hitter in a 20-0 win over Sacred Heart. Sarah Bielski went 3 for 3 with six RBIs in the best two of three semi round playoffs.

Sophia Erker and Makayla Martinez each had a HR and 3 RBI’s , in a 11-0 win over KM. Juli Murillo was 3 for 3 with 2RBI’s. Melissa Gordon pitched a 3 hit shutout with 7Ks in 4 innings.

Friars go 3-0 at the Morabito Tournament. Melissa Gordon goes 3-0 picking up tournament .MVP, she also hit .727. All tournament team Sophia Lee hit .538, and Sophia Erker hit .500. Great job by all team members scoring 29 runs against some of the best teams in NYS.
