Life has been chaotic recently, so I've been quiet here but it's big news time! I've accepted a new faculty position at @JohnsHopkins in the Department of Physics and Astronomy starting this fall. Really excited to dive back into the DC/Baltimore astro community!.

My very first PhD student just passed her defense - Congrats Dr. Kiana Burton! 🎉 Feels pretty surreal to now have graduated my own student. Guess I'm a real professor now! 🙃

The weather was looking better so we made a last minute decision to head to my in-laws in Ohio and hope to catch totality. Our pup is trying out the eclipse glasses to make sure we’re ready for the big event! @dog_rates 😎
