Loving the new @DOOM + DOOM II! Achieved 6 achievements in the first level, 16 by the time I finished. The IDKFA soundtrack rocks, but the fist and chainsaw achievements aren't registering.

Probably like every #Zelda fan out there, #ZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom was my most played game on #NintendoSwitch2023. Plenty of love for @idSoftware and @NightdiveStudio studios with #Quake and #QuakeII taking second and third place. #DOOMII was fourth and #DOOM seventh.

Ever since that experience, I have never used a cheat code in any game. There have been many games that have absorbed me, made me jump and sped the passage of time, but no single game since has ever had such an effect. (4/4) #DOOM30

I felt a sense of accomplishment when I cleared a level, especially if it was also with 100% kills, items & secrets. Gradually I worked my way up to Ultra-Violence. I can still manage 100% and under par on E3E1 on Ultra-Violence. (3/4) #DOOM30.

I played with all the cheat codes, like other games before. One day, I don't know why, I decided to play without cheat codes. Suddenly the game became tense, I was drawn into the atmosphere and I had to worry about what was around the corner and how much ammo I had. (2/4) #DOOM30.

DOOM has been a major part of my life since I first played the shareware version in '94. I playthrough the games regularly and find it an especially great way to release stress when I've had a bad day. It's also the game that completely changed how I played games. (1/4) #DOOM30

Seriously @AmazonUK, get your act together! I've bought a lot of books from you for over 20 years but this last year I have had so many damaged books. Twice now with the same pricey book, I'll pay more to a dedicated book seller with the expectation that it'll be sent with care.
