It is always sad to see young person gone like wind but it is also gratifying to see so many remember him with the good deeds. May he rest in eternal peace.

Choose your battles wisely. Not all are worth fighting. Walk away from those who disrespect you by lying. The best response to such people is no response at all. There’s no need for any confrontation because it would usually lead to more lies. Leave it be. The Almighty knows!

You can forgive completely but still choose to keep a safe distance from that person to protect yourself from unwanted harm or a repeat of what happened in the first place. Forgiving doesn't require you to embrace or interact with the one you forgave. Don't confuse the two.
