What happens if you put your custom shader inside a gem? Using triplanar blending, normals, and a buffer, it’s possible to run any shader within a gem. The results vary wildly depending on the input shader, often in surprising and really cool ways :D

Made a quick web app that lets me import my GLSL fragment shaders and experiment with any parameter. In this example, I’m showcasing a new “gemcut” shader, where you can adjust the “cut” and apply a noise texture (custom frequency/amplitude).
