I toured the NRP Group’s apartment project on Scranton Peninsula yesterday. They expect the two main buildings to be under roof in 45 days or so. The first units could open in August 2024, and the entire project is slated to be done in spring 2025.

Husband and I received our first COVID-19 vaccines today in Hough, thanks to a waitlist organized by our child’s nonprofit daycare center. We got the final two shots that would have gone to waste when other folks didn’t show up - with 15 minutes worth of notice. So thankful. ❤️

I ended my work trip to Cincinnati with a visit to the Findlay Market. Built in 1852, it’s surrounded by small businesses and historic buildings. The market is city-owned but managed by a nonprofit corporation - the model Cleveland is putting in place at the West Side Market.

I took a tour last week at 75 Public Square, a recently opened office-to-apartment conversion in the center of downtown Cleveland. The 114-unit project includes an indoor play area for dogs and a rooftop deck. It's about 20% leased, at rents ranging from $1,200 to $3,000 a month.

A morning spent hiking at Holden Arboretum, followed by a bike trek from North Collinwood to downtown - my first trip on that stretch of the lakefront bikeway. Perfect.
