Contributors from the @emberjs community have shipped Prettier, ESLint, and template-lint support for our new `<template>` format for authoring components. That puts us in a good spot to make it stable—i.e., shipping it it out of the box (though not yet the default). LET’S GO! 🚀

I want a layer of abstraction between the most aggressive, complex parts of production and my deployment and hosting conventions. This gives me room for low-risk experimentation, isolation from vendor risk, and the option for very production-alike development setups.

This approach should preserve your optionality in vendors and implementation, which may allow you to be *more* aggressive in trying out new tech than if your design is coupled to the flavor of the week and got stuck.

This allows your tooling to scale down to local development, but scale up to complex production solutions. Ideally, it gives you room for everything in between as well. ...and if you work with enterprise clients, there is a lot of stuff "in between".

Developers spend a lot of time talking about what architecture is the most optimized. Often, the answer is also something that constrains your future options. Instead, perhaps we can focus on what architectures have the greatest potential for optimization.
