anyway taking the time to say i love you chihiro fan mutuals!!thank you all for being so fun and awesome and chill i love that we can all love the same chr while also sharing our thoughts and ideas. i think that’s so great and shockingly enough, a rare sight for twt nowadays.

so many people are worried that other fans are gonna take their place in the “who likes this character more in ___twt” bs to the point where they make everyone else feel insecure about whether or not they’re a “real” fan and come up with all sorts of unspoken rules to be one.

anyway that is my two cents . i don’t get involved in fandomtwt discourse i’m on a little island far away from that but i just needed to vent my frustrations bc fandom spaces have gotten so pretentious nowadays .

As much merch as you do. Btw PLEASE stop using the amount of merch you have as a reason to brag that you are srs the #1 fan of a character. some people can love a character to the MOON and not have the kind of money to spend responsibly on a fictional character and that’s okay.

Are rude in fandom spaces and see themselves as the #1 curator of a particular character. It’s awesome to be passionate about a character but not when you are making other people feel inferior about liking them or “not a real fan” bc they don’t share the same opinions or have—.
