There’s a lot of cool things you can learn about character writing, research, world building, design, etc by having a couple ocs that are older than 25 (if you wanna make em ofc)

Don't be afraid of archetypes or tropes. Your favorite character is probably inspired by an older character from a movie inspired by a character from book inspired by folklore inspired by some real historical guy. Don't worry about being unique, be interesting.
