Day 2 of Greater Manchester’s Rail Revolution and I’m nose-to-nipple on a delayed, rush hour, 2-carriage train from Westhoughton to Manchester. I’d have posted yesterday but I drove as it was a rail replacement service! Viva la revolución #NorthernFail

Set out to the @UKLabour Conference for a fringe event and meeting. @northernassist train from Westhoughton to Wigan was a rail replacement bus, so drove. Parked in Wigan, bought ticket, then the 9:22am was cancelled. Next train 11:33. Drove to Liverpool. #NorthernPoorHouse

I’ve got a positive post about @northernassist 👀 👏🏻 😳 A bloke [similar age to me; not a kid] sat there with his phone on loud speaker and the conductor came up and asked if he had headphones. He said he’d left them at home, so she asked him to turn the speaker off 👏🏻 ❤️ 🎧

That government alarm was lovely as it went off just as we were all boarding the 3:01 from Manchester Piccadilly ⏰ 👀 Safe to say it works, which will be handy in a crisis! I’m going to stick my head in a fridge 😳

There’s a type of seat on one of the trains that occasionally dons our station which has clear separation and enough space to pop your bum on. I think they’re from an old 1980’s first class carriage. …anyway, I got one of those seats today and happiness has consumed me 👀😂

📣♾️📣 2 deaths last weekend in London were from pills confirmed as #nitazenes & similar to pills tested by The Loop. They looked like oxys BUT it is not known what they were bought as. Take care whatever pills you take. Carry #naloxone, check in on friends & test if you can.
