Great day enjoying the beautiful weather and nature through an Indigeneous lens with the Learn Build Go land-based learning PD session #hs4

Too much fun making our ribbon skirts this week at a Learn, Build, Go PD session. It was great telling the kids about our learning and getting to show off how proud we are of the finished result @stcatPB #hs4 also proud of my rockstar intern since this was her first time sewing!

#RockYourSocks day @stcatPB Today we learned about Down-syndrome and read this book inspired by Sofia Sanchez 💙💛

#PinkShirtDay2025 👚 we talked about bullying vs. Conflict and learned how standing up to bullies can turn the tide against them. Kids learned that sometimes hurting a friend damages them in ways that sorry can’t fix. They ended the day with some acts of kindness! #stcatPB

Thank you @jsjanzen for your powerful message this morning at #SWATCA2025 I really felt the full spectrum of pregnancy hormones - I went from laughing out loud to fully sobbing. Thanks for reminding us to ask for help, rise above, and look for the joy ☀️

Starting off #SWATCA on a creative note today. Making some cute little bookmarks 🥰 and talking about fractions, coordination, following instructions, geometry, etc!

What a wonderful morning so far hearing Indigenous stories and participating in beading - I’ve always thought beadwork is so impressive but I have a newfound appreciation after realizing the patience and craft that it really takes! #hs4

Awesome program today at Frank Slide learning about types of rocks. We got to explore different rocks, eat ice cream earth layers, stop Dino prints in mudstone, and create conglomerate fridge magnets! You could say this day rocked 😏 @stcatPB

Grade 3 spent the morning learning about Canada’s deadliest rockslide and realizing how the different types of rocks contributed to the disaster! @stcatPB

The wind didn’t slow us down from having a great sports day today! Great work athletes! Also FYI Ortynski family reins undefeated in tug-of-war this year in case anyone was wondering 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 @stcatPB

Another day of cuteness overload in @stcatPB today! 🥰

We’re using “Color by Stickers” to do a MART (math+art) mashup! As students place each sticker they have to count & track how many regular or irregular polygons they have! Later we will chart our results! Can’t wait to see the finished projects! @stcatPB

Huge congrats to all the performers who took to the live stage tonight for the annual @stcatPB Guitar Coffee House! 🎸🎶 I am always so blown away by the talent and bravery from these young musicians! Also a huge shoutout to @jgatner for all his work preparing the students! 👏🏼

Lotsa Spring energy @stcatPB this week! We’ve got chicks hatching and butterflies emerging in the same week and we can hardly contain our excitement! 😆 🦋 🐣
