A completely packed minster church for the annual Ipswich St George’s Day Parade this afternoon. Squirrels, beavers, cubs & scouts from across the town coming together in celebration and re-commitment to service. Wonderful examples of young people dedicated to the common good.

Along with worship at the Minster, Good Friday also saw our ecumenical Walk of Witness. With Christians from other Ipswich churches including Roman Catholic, United Reformed, and Methodist churches we walked silently, stopping to sing hymns, read aloud from Scripture, & to pray.

These five fantastic young people received their surplices today, making another step on their chorister journey. We’re so delighted for them! Each of them makes a huge contribution to the life of the church, not least in their sharing of the leading of worship. They’re amazing!

A joyous day baptising Freddie and Finley yesterday. Both born prematurely, they had a very difficult start to life. We prayed for them daily, and so it was extra special to bring them to baptism. Amazing young boys!
