Had a lovely day on Monday celebrating my son’s 30th, pictured here with his big sister well 2 day early. He’s gone to Belfast to visit the titanic museum. You know you’re getting old when your youngest hits 30 years old.

So here is a before and after of a splice repair of a RayBan wayfarer. The process consists of melting to two broken halves together with acetone, when dry grinding back and sticking fresh pieces of acetate to both sides of break and reshaping. #spectacles #framedoctor
