If someone is rude to us and we get an unpleasant feeling, it seems as though that person put that unpleasant feeling there for us. Check carefully in meditation and we can see that it’s arising from our mind.

It seems that unpleasant feelings come from others, but if we check in meditation, we can see that they arise from our state of mind.

Instead of blaming others for our unpleasant feelings, we try to examine the nature of that unpleasant feeling in the space of meditation.
