In short, I would choose to solve problems for which I have the capacity to deliver the maximum additional values beyond values already created by any existing solutions

My capacity to deliver solutions is a function of: - skill - interest - resources

Incremental value of the new solution = new solution's value - existing solutions' values Value of the new solution is a function of: - # of person benefiting - frequency of use - value benefited from each use - duration of use

I would look at two things: 1. Incremental values of the solutions that I can offer, compared to any existing solutions 2. My capacity to deliver the solutions

The world has unlimited problems to solve. Which one will you choose to solve? How do you decide?

Proof of work: Your work telling others that you're good at something. Social proof: Others telling the world that you're insanely good at something. First focus on proof of work then you automatically get social proof. - @5harath
