With support from IDI, we conducted hotspot mapping for People Who Use and Inject Drugs (PWUIDs) in Gulu City and district. The numbers are high, rising on a daily though most do not have access to basic Mental health support, Harm reduction, SRHR, HIV and TB preventive services

If we redirect just 7.5% of funds spent on drug enforcement, we could: ➡️Almost entirely end AIDS among people who inject drugs; ➡️ Prevent viral hepatitis among people who use drugs; ➡️ Save more lives through Naloxone distribution. Find more: https://t.co/JAvd0W9pbG

I was not happy with the guy who was taking this video, he was supposed to have helped this gentleman out of the traffic. Mental health is real and we should offer any kind of help, no need to stigmatise n mock PWUIDs. @OpioJoel17 @hrapf_uganda @uhruganda @Glory_Chagama @eannaso
