From the girl who once thought “Web3” was a typo… to someone who now sees the bigger picture and wants to go even deeper. 🩵 And to think, it all started with a reply job. 😂😅 #crypto #web3

At first, it felt intimidating because about 90% of the class already had some experience especially in the trading aspect. But I didn’t let that discourage me. I just focused on understanding things at my own pace.

But deep down, I just knew that class was meant for me. Something in me said, you’re not missing this one. And that’s exactly how it turned out — I went for it. I ended up being the only girl in a crypto class of 12. 💁🏽‍♀️

Later, we were told that if we wished to go further with the class, we’d have to pay a tuition fee. Immediately, people were like, “Ahh sir, I thought it was free!” 😂

And I was like, finally! 🙌 That Monday, I joined the class, and honestly, it felt so exciting! Every session opened my eyes a little more, and I started to see how much there was to learn in this space.

That hit me hard. So I started thinking, where can I gain this knowledge? Then came Day 2. Brands began introducing themselves, and @SMCDAO talked about their masterclass — free for the first 25 people to sign up on Monday.

After Day 1, my curiosity doubled. @VindicatedChidi talked about the many opportunities in the blockchain space and how you just have to know where to look. Almost every speaker repeated the same thing: “Gain knowledge first before chasing money.”

I went, feeling myself a little like, “Yesss, I attend tech events now!” 😂 But I didn’t let that distract me — I came to learn.

Fast forward to February 2025 — @Mazileft mentioned IBOM Blockchain Summit 25 (IBS),now Ibom Blockchain Xperince a 3-day event. The moment I heard “blockchain,” I said, say no more, I’m attending. 😎

Out of curiosity, I decided to ask ChatGPT (secretly hoping it would confirm that “Web3” didn’t exist). But nope. It explained what blockchain and Web3 were and that’s when it hit me… I was actually the one out of the loop. 😅

Instead, I kept seeing words like bullish, bull run, altseason and I was like, what’s going on here? 😂

So, I went straight to the comments, hoping someone else noticed the “mistake.” But to my surprise, everyone seemed to understand perfectly. And I just kept scrolling, hoping someone else was just as clueless as me. 😂

One day while scrolling through my timeline, I saw a post that mentioned “Web3.” And I was like, uhhh 😲 did this person make a mistake? Because seriously, what on earth is Web3?
