A fantastic turn out for our EYFS phonics workshop. It’s great to be working in partnership with parents to help our youngest children learn to read.

There is very heavy traffic on the M69 near Fosse Park. Revised ETA is 3:40 pm

We have just left Condover Hall after a week filled of challenges, learning, fun and laughter. ETA back at school is still 3:30 pm. Any changes will be communicated here. Please leave space for the coach to get down Hat Road

Initative games were also played - we had to communicate effectively to be able to complete the games/challenges.

Another group tried to grab the trapeze as they jumped off a platform 10m high. Hard on a normal day but harder on a rainy day.

One group took on the low rope challenge: transporting a container of water around the course without spilling any

We built a buggy this afternoon and then rode it around the field.

We also took part in Laser Quest where we had to avoid the lasers as we moved to the other side of the room

We had to work together to find the route through the grid of stones.

Day 4: a very wet morning but it did not stop us from enjoying our activities.

Low ropes challenges were met head-on by one of our groups.

Our steering was a bit wayward at times
