ℹ️ Also…. ✅ Some vendors while taking back trash from their own shop, are also ok with taking back an additional small bottle or a can or light bits of paper. Similarly at the 7Eleven and other convenience stores. Please do ask first!. ✅ Some Starbucks and fast food joints in

🚮 Some bigger shops and stores may have garbage bins outside their entrance/exit. Eg Mega Donki in Shibuya.

🍩 If F&B-ing at Starbucks or a fast food joint, ask and use their disposal section for light items like paper, small plastic bottles, small cans etc. It’s usually no issue.

🎒 The obvious one… Carry a small trash bag you can use as you move. Can drop this off in a bin you find, or dispose at your hotel.

🧋 While carrying a to-go drink like coffee or any other takeaway, request for a carry bag with a ‘handle’. It is easier to carry a bag with a handle, than carry around the cup or a paper bag without a handle (especially after you’ve consumed the item).
