I agree Mike has emotions that should be better explored, but to say he had no reaction to Holly being taken is not true. Mike processes these things through *action.* That has always been him. He's focused on finding Holly. He only breaks down when things become too much.
I’ll be so pissed if Mike doesn’t have a breakdown in vol 2 because he’s being suspiciously chill about everything that happened Why give him that convo with Holly where he tells her that monsters aren’t real and then her getting taken if there is almost no reaction from him
