My favorite "Star Trek"-level life sciences innovation is @LinkGevity's Anti-Necrotic™, blocking cell death. We're hence thrilled for the next chapter: our UK-Lithuania project just won @UKSpaceAgency funding!

Medicines for Mars? Let’s make them last. 🚀 In 2026, @esa and Delta Biosciences will launch a three-year mission to the International @Space_Station to study how radiation affects medication in space ⚕️ This pioneering research will help protect astronaut health on future deep

Proud of our Delta team! And we couldn’t do this without our partners at ESA: Angelique Van Ombergen, Christiane Hahn, Chris Puhl, Jorge Alves, Antonella Sgambati. We’re forever thankful for your partnership, your guidance and support. Onwards and upwards - literally!

Our friends should be proud: it’s one of a few spaceflight stability missions, uniting international collaborators; 1st such commercial mission in the wider CEE region; it illustrates Europe’s push for more space independence and LT’s push for leadership in critical technologies.

🛰️🚀 Delta goes SaaS (Space-as-a-Service): It’s a ride-sharing (#SpaceUber) opportunity for our commercial partners and scientific collaborators to validate their assets as well (more on our international partners soon!)

🌍 Delta’s ROE (Return-on-Earth): The outcomes of our mission will help astronauts and space tourists, but also military/emergency crews, cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy and patients in hard-to-resupply locations.

Why is it major? 🔬🔭 Delta (Space)Biosciences: It’s a validation of our radioprotective chemistry portfolio: we protect humans & payloads in space (DYK radiation would destroy around half of the current meds on a mission to Mars, while turning some other known meds toxic?)

🚀Delta biosciences is going to space 🚀 Yes, actual space. Together with the European Space Agency - ESA, we’re launching a long-term space medicine mission to the International Space Station in Q1 of 2026. OpNom: “Compound Degradation”.

Success to get off the pad, and lots of data already obtained. I am sure @isaraerospace will learn a lot. Rocket launch is hard. Never give up, move forward with even more energy !

3rd, develop a playbook for public-private partnerships in the new space age. (Let governments guarantee the Transatlantic security, and let Western companies do what they do best: delivering the world’s best innovation at a rapid rate, in sync with a noble mission)

2nd, double-down on space exploration spin-offs. E.g. the development of countermeasures against space radiation has immediate applicability on the ground (emergency response, war medicine, even climate change mitigation)

1st, update the calculus: commercial space dominance is not only a quest for ROI, but also for strategic positioning against global competitors (space exploration, economy, warfare)
