The more constant you help someone, the more they felt entitled to your help as it was your obligation to do so. This runs in my great family from mom side. They do not appreciate how significant a little help can do, not until it is gone from their life.

If you're in a relationship and happy, don't let anyone else tell you that your happiness isn't real because you're monogamous, open, poly, or anything else. It's your relationship, not theirs.
