@mikerexbooks I have just read the latest “Your pal Fred” book and it was so entertaining. Seeing Fred being pushed to his limits in his patience and seeing how his hard work has slowly paid off one person at a time was great to watch. Keep up your great storytelling work.

This! This is why I make picture books. They literally bring people together.
They are actually reading Wants vs Needs Robots (see it behind the other book). My granddaughter is obsessed with it even though at 4, she only gets half of it. They make a great pair of books!! @mikerexbooks @nancyrosep @penguinkids @penguinusa

I’ve spent 1/2 my life making phone calls, and 1/2 my life sending emails. Talking on the phone is much easier and quicker. I just had to send a whole email just to ask if someone meant “and/or” in their previous email.

Good vibes. Two weeks ago I mentioned that I wanted to learn to make Summer Rolls to a co-volunteer at a local foodbank. She’s mid 70s, born in Vietnam. Today she brought me all the ingredients, sauces, and a sample roll! One of the kindest gestures I’ve ever experienced.
