I was playing Santa in the Christmas play in 5th grade. I told my mom that I needed to provide a beard for my role the next day. She went to her sewing room and somehow made an awesome beard out of fabric, 100+ cotton balls and elastic.

RIP to one of the greatest Cubs ever and a kind, humble, classy person. I was so fortunate and blessed to host Ryne and Margaret for 90 minutes showing them around @ChicagolndSpdwy in 2005. They were so nice, engaging and appreciative. He’ll never be forgotten.

In the late 50s, my father-in-law bought a supply of @HawkeyeFootball buttons to finance his trip from Iowa to the @rosebowlgame and also make some extra money in Pasadena. Prior to the game, Bob Hope bought a button from him and wore it to the game! #rosebowlgame

So accurate! Worst major sports venue to get to or leave from in the U.S. Every other stadium is fighting for 2nd place.

Boxing was a lot easier to watch when you could turn on your 13-inch Zenith, wait for it to warm up and turn your dial to 2 or 7 to watch a fight! Netflix could only get to 25% on my TV tonight so I had to watch on my phone. Netflix is a Joke should be the company slogan.
