Anyone out there have experience of measuring SD card read speeds in SPI mode? I'm seeing read throughputs of 1.5Mbytes/sec down to 500K/Sec at 24MHz clock. Bigger cards seem worse. Need about 1Mbyte/Sec on a min 1Gbyte card if possible - any specific recommendations?
