The point of the game is bottom player's trying to get your shoulder underneath a leg. Top player is still trying to pass like normal. Bottom player is just trying to get a leg to their shoulder. Share this if you found it valuable!

Confused by ADCC takedown rules? Here's a simple ecological game to get points. Start standing, takedown to butt, keep them there for 3 seconds to score! Bottom person tries to turtle. It's live once they reach their butt.

It teaches one to be okay in uncomfortable bottom positions, finding space to counter instead of feeling like they are dying. When an opponent is smashing, creating space allows for wrestling up.

Escaping the bottom hook in BJJ can be tricky, but here's a simple way to shake them off, get their back flat to the mat, turn, and end up on top! It's one of my favorite ways to escape because you get back on top quicker. If they don't follow, you're in a good position.
