Christ followers should live their lives with such grace and joy that others are attracted to Christ and His ways for themselves.

The grace of joy gives us the ability to laugh in the middle of the storm.

There’s no aspect of our lives that is not under the Lordship of Christ. It’s that simple. It’s that hard.

Question: Do we believe the future will be the way Jesus says it will be? If so, are we living in such a way to be best prepared for that future?

Pray for your pastor. Even on your pastor’s best days, they’re stretched to the limits of their abilities and energy.

The fastest way to love the world is to love your neighbor. And who is our neighbor? The first person in need we meet today is our neighbor.

We believe the Bible is “inspired” - that is “God breathed.” Whenever we read Scriptures, we take in the breath of God. Reading Scripture is CPR for your soul.

Be good to yourself. We really can’t be a good friend to anyone else if we aren’t a good friend to ourselves.

No matter how far we go along in our journey with Jesus, we can never abandon the basics of Scripture study, prayer, and worship. You never get past the basics.

Community focused churches are the future of the church in North America. Congregations of the neighborhood and for the neighborhood will thrive in the coming years. Successful ministry will be determined by how focused the church can be on their local community.

One of the things we forget about Jesus being eternal is there is no end to His being. He exists on and on, deeper and deeper. That’s why theology is a life long pursuit. There’s always more of Go to know and understand.

The call to ministry isn’t a guarantee for a career.

The problem before us is the opportunity we prayed for.

God visits us all the time. It’s just that sometimes He shows up looking like our neighbor. Worship is the moment when we give all of ourselves to God Who has already given all of Himself to us.

In serving our neighbor, our first response is to listen. We can’t assume we understand what our friends need from us until we fully hear their story. Listening is always the first step in helping.

Prayer always leads to action. Action always follows prayer. In our conversations with God, we find out what He's up to which in turn, tells us what we should be doing as well.

Every job is too big to get done when we first look at it. Yet, no job remains too big when we break the big job into little chunks. After all, every big job is just a lot of little jobs standing in the same place at the same time.
