This is my (now deceased) grandfather, he was a navigator in Lancaster Bombers. He was shot down over Germany and spent time as a POW, escaped and recaptured. He thought the EU was the best and only way to secure peace in Europe. A strong man, I still miss him.

What a difference an hour makes, sun is properly up.

Thursday 10th July 05:00.Going to be warm today, up to 27°c.I fell last night and could not get back up, lay on the floor for a while before dragging myself to the stairs and finally pulling myself up. It worries me that I could fall again, maybe stuck for hours, not fun.
