Terrific morning at the @winchfarmmkt with a huge showing from our community groups as we (weather notwithstanding) make the turn into the Fall and our non-Summer routines. Great to see so many old friends and make some new ones today (and pick up a load of fresh food for dinner)

Happy Labor Day! Thank you to everyone who has fought for improved working conditions for all and to everyone who continues to stand up for the working person, including my brother, a former union leader who has never stopped teaching and leading by example.

As August wraps up, I want to take a minute to thank the dedicated group of students who interned in my office this summer. They were an invaluable resource to me and my team conducting research, writing memos and attending briefings. I look forward to seeing where they go next!

I hope to see you this week! Office hours allow me to learn more about my constituents to become a better representative, so come introduce yourself, learn more about government services, ask questions or just say hello.

The Isley Brothers and a fried feta egg over an avocado tortilla started the Saturday, and then the light bulb flicked on -- "Wait, Dad, didn't Ice Cube use this?" Have a day for yourself, Ryan!

Rather than hosting in-person office hours tomorrow, I will be moving them to next Thursday. I hope to see you then!

The classic, feel-good August continues for the kids. A little George Harrison and a big cheese omelette!

No school = no lessons. Comfort food and comfort music for the kids today with two of their favorites: corned beef hash and eggs with The Band!

Today, I joined my colleagues in the Legislature in passing the FY'24 state budget, and I am proud to have been able to secure significant funds for both Stoneham and Winchester. The budget now goes to the Governor's desk for her action.

I was proud to vote in favor of approving this significant funding package and look forward to continuing to work in partnership with our local leaders to improve our neighborhoods.

Yesterday, the House and Senate appropriated significant funding for road and bridge maintenance. These historic investments will provide Stoneham and Winchester with the funding we need to improve and repair our transportation infrastructure.

Digging deep into the Detroit R&B annals for some Nathaniel Mayer to wake the boys today, then giving them entirely too much sugar before I sneak off to work.

It was an honor to have Marie Hardiman, who is interning in my office this summer, introduce me this morning as the guest speaker for the Legislature's Intern Speaking Series. Thank you to @repdanhunt, his staff, and Anne Ziaja for putting the series together.

Used one of Warren Zevon's best to introduce the kids to lyrical dissonance this morning. Responses from the older two: Conor: Yeah, it's like Chloroform Girl Ryan: It's Pumped Up Kicks Not sure whether to be proud or concerned...
