A busy productive morning yesterday here in my area. Graffiti cleaning drain cleaning and here litterpicking. 7 large bags collected, soaking wet duvet in the gutter, procesco bottles in black bags, soggy cardboard everything. Loads done. #OneMillionBags

Story of a travelling Tesco trolley with baby carrier. Few miles from the store, it's been up and down this main road in different spots for a month. Yesterday with just tools in the car I found it got it half in tying the boot shut and returned it. No lock on it you notice.

So, as promised, I went back to this drain. I've cleared it a few times over the years, but unsurprisingly, it was solid with mud, litter, and leaves. I did it and one higher up the hill. This will really help drainage here on the hill.

A quick reel of Before and After shots of work from 2023 in Walsall. Stayed all clean here I check regularly for the odd small thing well worth doing. It's the broken windows theory in action. Clean up and keep it clean. It does have an effect

With torrential rain today stopping my work, trouble with my X account (now resolved hopefully) and the thought of stuff out there to do annoys me. I will check this tomorrow - will it be blocked or clear? You decide lol

Hope everyone can see this? I did this work last year weeding & painting. Comment if you can I am worried my account was hacked or disabled. I've had X flagging messages here. My follow counts have gone. Not sure what to do

Quick tag removal in the local park. It's little things like this that degrade an area, bit by bit. The Broken Window Theory is clear, unless litter tagging & flytipping is tackled immediately it ruins the area.

Swept this walkway the other day. It gets very muddy and slippy here but also blocks the nearby drainage. The litter collects too. Fence line is swept as cutting in here is a major job really.

Spotted and cleaned yesterday here in Aldridge it's in a junction where we see flooding in heavy rain. Leaves on top but litter - cans and a plastic bottle - in the grate it's just getting worse here. Better now, deep cleaned the whole area.

6 large bags collected today off our local housing estate. Shopfronts done small park and alleyways all done. In the pouring rain today, this time of year, everything weighs a lot! soggy litter!#OneMillionBags

An easy clean on a park bin in Walsall. Stuff like this ruins an area, and if left, it encourages more very quickly. Zero tolerance is the only way.

Short video showing an easy graffiti tag removal, Elbow grease kitchen cleaner green pad kitchen scourer, wipe clean. This was on a walk in the park, hence no hi viz etc I was told of a few tags and didn't want to make a specific visit. Easy to do

A difficult afternoon here I went to the park this morning for a walk took off minor tagging but found this on a wall. It's a Victorian building so needed careful cleaning. I need to return with more water & washing up liquid to wash off the dirt left/disturbed after the removal

Time for a blast from the past - 1998 Walkers crisp packet with Spice Girls promotion on it found a few years ago. In a hedge protected from sunlight it was in good condition. There was one for each Spice Girl I found all but 2 of them

This wooden bench in a park shelter was badly scribbled. Difficult to remove but got it off with aerosol cleaners and scouring pads. I had come with dark varnish if needed. Always prepared!

Cleaning up fireworks debris. Same mess every year at this time. These often wet, block fire fireworks weigh a ton and are a pain to collect up. Then there are the little plastic bits everywhere. Piling it by a bin doesn't help its just flytipping. Why do we put up with it?

Good job I cleared these bins Saturday as the Walsall Remembrance parade goes past these today. These private bins shouldn't stored on the street they just attract street litter and overflow.

Did this the other day the kerbs were replaced after pipe works. But now there are huge weeds catching mess. No where else along here, just this bit of gutter. Looks better now easier to keep

The metal footbridge here in Aldridge I swept it all out clearing out the drain at the end. The leaves just make a slippy mess as the rain doesn't drain off. Much better for a sweep, better for residents walking to the Remembrance Sunday parade here.

Yesterday I opened & dug out this drain in a walkway in Aldridge. It floods, no drainage on the footbridge other than this. Dug it out with spade & hoe. About 2 ft deep to a sump it's a soakaway, I reached in an cleared soil & roots - this should be good for another year
