This bothered me for years, because I really liked the piece, but I grew to really hate the performance. (3/4)

"Scramble" was originally composed/orchestrated in Finale, then brought over to my DAW. Instead of playing in the parts, as I do now, I just dropped in the MIDI, resulting in a very lifeless performance. On top of that, I didn't have all the sample libraries I have now. (2/4)

Upgraded to a 27-inch 4K monitor. It's glorious! Scaled everything to be the same perceived size as before, meaning a lot more space. Felt the same way years ago, going from my laptop screen to a 21-inch 1080p monitor. Next upgrade will be even bigger? No. I'm out of desk space.
