Just used fastml to compare logistic regression (glm/glmnet) and random forest (ranger/randomForest) on the Framingham dataset. Repeated CV + Bayesian tuning (20 iter) with early stopping, MICE imputation, and upsampling made model selection easy. 🚀 library(fastml)

Interesting to still hear the complete fallacy that “walking is enough” and “just moving makes a difference” when thinking of exercise medicine for cancer. Sure, it helps. But it does nothing for muscle or bone health- two tissues with direct links to frailty and premature death.
