Adoption is a noble act, but only when it's legal. Every child deserves a lawful beginning !. Inter-district cooperation led to recovery of a newborn child that was sold illegally at Dhakuakhana to a couple from Guwahati.Further legal action initiated. @assampolice @migueldasq

I had raised this before. Is it permissible for random individuals to don Police khaki uniforms and frighten children addicted to mobile phones with threats of arrest?. Isn't impersonation of a public servant a criminal offence? . Is there a need for a formal complaint?.

Regular and thorough trainings of Police personnel on Child Rights Laws and procedures is not some leisure-time activity, it is serious business. Without adequate and sustained training, ensuring child-rights compliant responses would be difficult.
